Hello and
welcome to the latest food4myholiday newsletter.
Easter is here and from a chef's point of view, the first signs
of the new growing year are appearing. While there are lots of
hardy root vegetables still going strong, purple sprouting
broccoli is in full swing, as are spring greens, beetroot and
cauliflower, and the first few radishes should appear shortly.
Why not treat yourself this Easter to a lovely rack of new
season lamb? We even have a recipe for you -
addition this month we have lovely whole lemon sole - they are
fabulous this month, especially if cooked simply with some
wild garlic butter.
We'd like to wish you all a
lovely Easter and a busy start to the holiday season!

Taste
South East Cornwall News.......
Organised by Nick and sponsored by Caradon District Council, the
Taste South East Cornwall Young Chef of the Year was a
resounding success. The three finalists impressed everyone with
their dedication, enthusiasm and professionalism - and the food
tasted fantastic too!!
The winner was Phillip
Ferguson of Torpoint with runners-up Rachel Dobson of Looe and
Erin Beswetherick of Liskeard.
'I
(very belatedly) just wanted to say a huge thank you for
the amazing service you offer. The curry was
gorgeous....The chicken was greeted with the comments
"just how chicken used to taste - good flavour and
tender". I always buy organic at home but the
sausages, bacon, cheese etc were far superior to what we
usually eat!
I
have no doubt that we will use your company again, and I
have been singing your praises to anyone who will
listen! '

Chef Iain
Shillito has joined the food4 team! Many of you will know Iain
and Amy from Bywater Restaurant in Looe, which has earned
an enviable and well-deserved reputation over the past few
years. Needless to say, we are absolutely delighted to have a
chef of Iain's calibre working with us.
Meanwhile,
Matt has decided to move on to pursue other projects, and we
wish him well for the future.
